Growing a newsletter past 40k. Beehiiv's growth tools are tempting but Kit's automation is mature. Which would you commit to?

I run a ~40k newsletter and I'm picking a long-term home. Beehiiv's referral/recommendation/Boosts stuff looks built for growth. Kit's visual automation and commerce look better if I want to sell. Torn.

(answering my own framing) From research: Beehiiv = newsletter-first with native growth loops; Kit = creator commerce + advanced automation. If growth is the priority, Beehiiv. If selling products is, Kit.

If you ever want richer, more designed sends, note that newsletter editors hit a template ceiling. Some folks draft designed pieces elsewhere. But for pure newsletter, both are strong.
